Introduction

We are a team of seasoned information security professionals who began our careers as software developers and system administrators, pivoting into security when the industry demanded it. We were Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) before the title was even recognized—before executives understood why security needed a seat at the table. Each of us has over thirty years of experience, collectively spanning centuries in the field. And yes, we are some of the oldest professionals still pushing the boundaries of technology.

This isn’t a startup in the conventional sense. Over the past decade, we have invested millions of dollars and countless hours of our own time into solving a problem that has remained unsolved for 25 years.

We didn’t start out trying to build a company. We were searching for a tool that didn’t exist—a tool we needed, but no one had created. When we began designing it, we recognized that its impact would extend far beyond today’s needs. That realization proved correct.

We have built the first technology capable of constructing AI models to assist in real-time security incident response. While other companies claim to leverage AI for this purpose, the reality is starkly different. AI cannot respond to live attacks without historical data models, and such data has never been available. Companies do not share incident response data due to legal liability, reputational risks, and compliance concerns.

The “Chicken and Egg” Problem

AI depends on historical models—but organizations will never willingly share security incident data to build those models. Moreover, no company would voluntarily add extra workload to their staff just to contribute data “for the greater good.” The only way to solve this paradox was to create technology so valuable that organizations would adopt it for its immediate benefits—without even realizing they were helping to solve the larger AI challenge.

That technology is Reflex.

Reflex is not a replacement for existing security tools—it fills a critical gap that has eluded the industry for decades. It doesn’t fit within any existing product category because it is the first and only platform of its kind.

What Reflex Does Today

Reflex converts static, paper-based incident response plans into custom, executable mobile applications, automatically delivered wherever and whenever they are needed. It ensures every team member has the correct, up-to-date version of a response plan, instantly accessible—even in a crisis.

While in use, Reflex automatically archives incident response data, including:

  • Time-to-resolution metrics
  • Skills and experience levels of responders
  • The impact of missing resources
  • Success and failure patterns

This archiving process happens seamlessly, without burdening staff, and in a way that ensures data cannot be traced back to its source. Over time, Reflex will amass the missing dataset required for AI-driven security automation.

A Tool for Today—A Foundation for the Future

Despite its implications for AI, Reflex is not a future concept. It is a tool that organizations can use right now. Its immediate benefits—real-time incident response automation, seamless execution of response plans, and elimination of fragmented, outdated methods—are game-changing today.

Reflex is the future of security operations, but it is also the present.

Who We Are

My name is Craig Brown, and I am the founder of Graybelt Innovations Incorporated. I am also the last remaining member of the original team. With 45 years of development experience and 30 years in information security management, I have led the development of Reflex across multiple operating systems and platforms, using the latest technologies, including .NET and state-of-the-art distributed systems architecture.

This project has been self-funded and built from the ground up. Now, I am seeking partners who recognize the significance of Reflex and want to take it to the next level.

If you are interested in being part of something truly transformative, let’s talk.
